Hyko, hyko un-de! #HYKOBauanaNaturals

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

In this serum from Bauana Naturals, Hyaluronic and Kojic Acid gets shortened to Hyko!(TM) and it makes me think of that great Mardi Gras song, Iko Iko.

Was my skin as lifted as my spirits after listening to this catchy song? Maybe!

What is a brightening serum? In the case of Bauana Naturals Hyko! Serum, I think it not only means lightening dark spots with Kojic acid, but also minimizing blemishes with Salicylic Acid, and making the skin look more radiant and youthful with healing ingredients like aloe, and plumping ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid.
It's too soon to really see a lot of brightening after only 30 days with this serum, especially since this serum is free of hydroquinone, but everyone has a different experience.  One thing I really like about this serum is that the formula is made with 98% natural ingredients, and 72% organic ones, too.  This is a gentle serum, thin and clear, with a pleasant herbal/aloe aroma, that dries quickly and cleanly, with no residue.  It's also free from parabens, sulfates, alcohol, fragrances, GMO's, phthalates, petrochemicals and synthetic dyes.  Hyko! is cruelty-free, and made in the USA.
The same attention to detail in the natural formula is also in the packaging, with an amber bottle to keep out the light, and a pump dispenser to keep out the air and contaminants.

I was so happy I found a stamp that so closely mimicked the pattern on the Hyko! bottle!  The base is OPI Warm Me Up, and I double stamped with Finger Paints Paper Mache and SephoraX Torque, using my UC 1-02 plate.
My skin really loves Hyaluronic Acid for drawing moisture from the air into the skin and giving it a firmer, bouncier texture.  In fact, just the other day, I was Face-Timing with my mom, and the first thing she said to me was how nice my skin looked! (even though I'd been sick with a cold for the past week!) My skin feels soft and supple, my blemishes are minimal, and I look forward to even more brightening effects as I continue to use this serum.

If you'd like to try Hyko! Serum from Bauana Naturals, or get more information, they can be found on their website, Facebook, and Amazon, where this serum currently retails for $35. They offer a 180-day unconditional, money-back guarantee, too!

Have you tried a brightening serum?
