A Tough Scrub For Soft Skin #TTOscrub

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

Did you know that our skin is our largest organ?  By and large, it's pretty good at taking care of itself and protecting our innards like it's meant to do.  But, to keep it looking and feeling its best, it needs a little TLC - and sometimes, it could use a little help with some of the nasties that plague it!

First Botany Tea Tree Oil Body & Foot Scrub looks like a heavy-duty treatment - and, frankly, it intimidated me a little bit.  Would I only be able to use it on the roughest and driest of body parts, or on callused and funky feet?
First Botany Tea Tree Oil Body & Foot Scrub directions and ingredients
When I first opened the jar, it does have a slightly medicinal smell from the tea tree and eucalyptus oils, and the texture is definitely large and granular.  It looks and smells like it could handle the toughest of skin problems!  It feels good and scrubby to me, but not painful or scratchy.  If you like to feel the exfoliation, you'd probably like this.  I thought it would be a bit much for my face, so I only used it on my body.

Upon applying it, though, the smell takes on a fresh, minty characteristic from the rosemary, peppermint and spearmint oils, and a sweetness from the chamomile.  For such strong oils, the scent is actually very mild, and didn't last on my skin after the shower was done.  What did last was the softest skin ever!  There was a little oily film on my skin (and on the shower floor, so be careful!) when I was done, but by the time I was done drying and getting dressed, it had absorbed in and left me with smooth, silky soft skin.

Like finding out that a cold-blooded assassin also grew prize-winning roses and writes love songs, I was pretty amazed that something that is advertised for tough foot problems and troubled skin could leave my body feeling so pampered.

Is that a tree tree?  I did my best to recreate it on my nails using a base of LynBDesigns On Point, and stamping with Hit The Bottle Absinthe Minded, Finger Paints Black Expressionism and Sketchy Character.
