Who says skincare can't be fun? #StriVectin

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

I love masks.  Love them.  If there's a new type of mask, I want to try it.  I'd heard about 'bubble masks' in the K-beauty arena, but I was skeptical.  What was the big deal, and could all that foaming actually *do* anything for my skin?  But, when StriVectin asked me to try their foaming oxygen mask, I knew it wouldn't be all hype!

I admit, I've become a big fan of StriVectin.  Their main claim-to-fame - NIA 114 - is a proprietary form of Niacinamide, which works really well on my aging, oily skin.  When I finish testing a product, I often come back to StriVectin. I've fallen in love with their gentle Retinol cream, their Tightening Neck cream, and I really love their moisturizer with SPF.  My husband even stole that one from me and finished it! Which is why I haven't let him try this mask.  Seriously.
This Oxygen Infusion Smoothing Mask lifts debris and impurities from the skin, and gently exfoliates the skin with beta-hydroxy acids.  It moisturizes and invigorates with NIA-114, and leaves skin soft and bright, with fewer noticeable wrinkles.
Let's start with the packaging.  I love these twist-up pumps.  They keep the product so clean, and there's no caps to lose or get dirty.  It's the ultimate in sleek, functional packaging.  I do wish I could see how much of the mask I had left, but the opaque tube keeps the product safe from light and contaminants, so it's a trade-off I can live with.

The mask itself comes out in a liquid, but it starts to foam up right away.  The top picture shows the creamy white mask reacting immediately, and the bottom picture is the almost dry, light, airy result.
This is one of the few masks I just put on with my hands.  The cream is light, not sticky, with a pleasant, sweet, but unobtrusive smell. It starts foaming immediately, and you can hear and feel the bubbles forming and popping!  The mask takes about 5 minutes to dry, though it doesn't get hard or crumbly.  I totally felt like Santa, with a big, fluffy, white beard!
My skin felt so good afterwards - soft, smooth, and bright and radiant.  This would be a great mask to do while getting ready for a holiday party, or even for a 5-minute pampering session.  It's quick, non-irritating, and gave me visible results.  It's gentle enough to use several times a week, if you'd like.

StriVectin-inspired nailart! I added an off-center stripe of Deborah Lippmann Stand By Your Man to a white base.  It looked like a raspberry color in the bottle, but painted on a little redder than I thought it would be.  I added silver and black dots to represent the writing.

For more information, or to purchase, you can find StriVectin on FaceBook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, or their webpage, where the StriVectin Oxygen Infusion Smoothing Mask currently retails for $62.Through 12/11, they are having a 5 Days of Amazing Deals specials and free shipping, too!

Have you tried a foaming oxygen mask?
